Kove and Canvas is a trading name of Jason Faulkner. It is not a limited company and carries no company registration number.
VAT
We are not registered for VAT. Our turnover is below the registration threshold, so no VAT is charged on our prices and we cannot issue VAT invoices.
What we sell, and how
We sell two ranges. The first is original art prints and framed prints, designed by us and printed to order in the United Kingdom. The second is alternative home decor — wall pieces, shelving, ornaments and lighting — which we buy in and which is held and dispatched from a UK warehouse. Some of it carries the names of the artists who designed it, and those designs remain theirs.
Prices are in pounds sterling. Delivery charges are shown separately before you pay, and are charged once per order.
A contract is formed when we email you to confirm we have accepted your order. The contract is concluded in English, and we keep a record of it.
Your right to cancel
You may cancel within 14 days of delivery under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and we extend that to 30 days as a matter of our own policy. Return postage on a change of mind is payable by you. The full detail, including the model cancellation form, is in our Refund Policy.
Faulty goods
Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply in full: goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. See our Refund Policy.
Copyright
Our own print designs, and the text and photography we produce for this site, are the original work of Kove and Canvas and are protected by copyright. None of our own designs reproduce band logos, album artwork or any other third-party trade mark or copyright work.
Products in our decor range that carry an artist’s or brand’s name remain the copyright of that artist or brand. We sell them as an authorised retailer; we do not claim their designs as ours.
Complaints and dispute resolution
Email hello@koveandcanvas.com. We aim to acknowledge within two working days and resolve within ten.
If we cannot settle it between us, you can contact the Citizens Advice consumer service on 0808 223 1133, or refer the matter to an alternative dispute resolution provider. We are not currently a member of an ADR scheme, and we are not obliged to be.
Data protection
How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy. Complaints about data handling can be made to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Governing law
The law of England and Wales governs our contracts and this site.
